Anhui University History

Anhui University was established in the year 1928. It is a public university which is situated in Hefei in China. It was originally started in Anqin, but in 1952, it moved to Hefei. In 1946, it was named as National Anhui University but later it changed to its present name. It is a government funded university.

Anhui University Programs, Courses and Schools

Anhui University has got 18 academic schools offering degree programs in more than 40 departments. Students can opt for undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and research programs. It also offers other programs like continuing education, language training, study abroad and non-degree courses.

Faculties of the university are highly qualified and expert in their field of study. It has got postdoctoral research station, education in state key disciplines, provincial key disciplines, research institute and research labs under Ministry of Education.

Anhui University Campuses

Anhui University has an urban infrastructure with four campuses. The campus covers the huge area and provides with the facilities like dining, athletic grounds, fitness centre, healthcare centre, cultural centre, support services, research labs, academic buildings and transportation facilities. Student organisations help in exploring the ideas and organises cultural and other events in the university. University media has journal and press media.

University library is the modern library with digitalisation in terms of collection of books, journals, guides, newspaper and knowledge base. Databases, training sessions, exhibition, bulletin, computer systems, study rooms and labs are accessible.
