To be eligible for admission to a Master's program at Applied Science University (ASU) in Bahrain, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Academic Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a university or college recognized by the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The undergraduate program should be in the same specialty as the desired Master's program or a closely related field. If there is a discrepancy, applicants may be required to complete remedial courses as specified by the relevant department. 

Grade Point Average (GPA): A minimum GPA of "Good" (or its equivalent) is required for admission. Applicants with a GPA lower than "Good" may still be considered if they have at least two years of relevant professional experience and pass an interview conducted by the admissions committee. 

English Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency by achieving a minimum TOEFL score of 450 or its equivalent. Exceptions are made for applicants who pass ASU's English placement test or have a Bachelor's degree from an institution where English is the medium of instruction. Those who do not meet the proficiency requirement are required to complete remedial English courses during their first year.

Professional Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience is required. However, applicants with a GPA of "Very Good" or its equivalent may be exempted from this requirement. The number of such admissions is limited to 50% of the total number of students admitted. 

Supplementary Documents: Applicants must submit two recommendation letters, preferably one from an academic staff member of their previous institution. Additionally, they should provide a health fitness certificate from an approved medical center and, if applicable, proof of relevant professional experience. 

Meeting these criteria ensures that applicants are well-prepared for the academic rigor of ASU's Master's programs.
