Art Center College of Design is an American private and non-profit art school located in Pasadena, California. The college was initially based in downtown Los Angeles and was established as Art Center School in 1930. The college adopted its present name in 1965 and moved to Pasadena in 1976. It currently enrols over 1700 students.

Art Center College of Design offers graduate degrees in Art, Environmental Design, Film, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Media Design Practices, and Transportation Systems and Design. The college also offers a range of interdisciplinary programs and extension programs.
Art Center College of Design offers undergraduate programs in Advertising, Entertainment Design, Film and Theatre, Environmental Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Illustration, Interaction Design, Photography and imaging, Product Design, and Transportation Design.
Art Center College of Design Campuses
Art Center College of Design is based on two campuses in Pasadena, California. The Hillside campus is the older campuses of the two and houses the administrative headquarters of the college in addition to classrooms, studio spaces, library, student and exhibit galleries, multimedia labs with 3D printing facilities, and interior simulation lab.
Art Center College of Design also runs another facility called the South campus which was opened in 2004. The campus comprises of modern teaching facilities in addition to 16000 square foot exhibition space, recreation centre, auditoriums, and design based learning labs.

Art Center College of Design is ranked 10th amongst top 25 best design schools in the world by Business Insider. The school’s Illustration programs is also ranked 4th amongst top 40 Illustration Programs in the United States by Animation Career Review.
