For admission to postgraduate programmes at Artevelde University of Applied Sciences Campus Hoogpoort, international students must meet several academic and administrative requirements.
Applicants are generally required to hold a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university that provides access to postgraduate study in Belgium.
They must submit official academic transcripts and diploma certificates, and documents that are not in English, Dutch, French, or German must be officially translated.
For programmes taught in English, applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency, commonly through tests such as IELTS or TOEFL, or an equivalent certificate proving adequate English skills. Students also need to complete the online application and registration process, submit identification documents such as a valid passport, and in some cases provide additional materials like a CV or motivation statement depending on the programme.
Non-EEA applicants usually need to pay an application fee (about €75) and, after admission, apply for a Belgian student visa (long-stay visa D) before travelling to Belgium.
These requirements ensure that international students are academically qualified and able to successfully complete postgraduate studies at the university.
