Established in 1885 as a specialist institution, Arts University Bournemouth is a leading public university offering high-quality specialist education in art, design, media, and performance across the creative industries. Arts University Bournemouth maintains three off-campus student halls throughout the town, providing for over 450 students overall.

Arts University Bournemouth runs 20 undergraduate and 9 postgraduate programs organized in two faculties: the Faculty of Art and Design and the Faculty of Media and Performance.
