Askham Bryan College take pride in making all of their students feel welcome as one of the best specialized land-based colleges in the UK. They were rated as "good" by Ofsted for our teaching and "good" for their care and housing (see the Department for Education's school performance and their most recent Ofsted report here). For all of them the new five-year strategy and 2030 Vision represent a new strategic orientation. They have spent the past two years working with stakeholders, students, and colleagues to make sure they understand what is expected of us over the next ten years and beyond. Their common objective is to address present and upcoming economic and environmental difficulties by being a specialized land-based supplier that develops skills.
York city center is around four miles away from the College York campus. At this site, they provide a wide selection of topic areas and levels, such as Foundation, Top Up, Level 1-3 Diplomas, Apprenticeships, and BSc Honours Degrees. They also provide lodging for students who are 16 years of age or older. A gym, a sports hall, a climbing wall, sports fields, an army obstacle course, an animal management unit with kennels, a cattery, and a wildlife and conservation park are all located on campus, along with the Digital Academy.
There are around 750 students in the campus.
