Athens University of Economics and Business, is a public Greece university located in Athens, Greece. It was established in the year 1920. Before 1989 university was renowned in Greek because the Supreme faculty of social science and Business although the University of Business’s official name has modified, however, it's still renowned popularly in Greek by this form.

Athens University of Economics and Business, offers a large number of Master’s Programs, either at the MSc or in MBA level, mostly in Greek and even in English. The University offers undergraduate programs, 28 different Master Programs and even doctorate programs and also certification courses are included. The University has 8 academic departments. The University has more than 1,800 undergraduate students and 1,200 postgraduate students.

The Athens University campus of social science and Business is centrally settled in downtown Athens. The main building of the university is settled at seventy-six, Patision Street Street in Athens. The rear of the building faces PedionAreos Park and also the Panellinios Sports Club. Four additional buildings within the space cover the university's needs in offices and teaching rooms. One of them is located at 12, Kodrigtonos Street and the other at 12, Derigny Street.

Athens University of Economics and Business, Professor LoannisKatsoulakos was awarded the “Outstanding Paper Award” at the Literati Network Award for Excellence in the year 2008 for his article in Corporate Governance. Professor and President of the Greek promoting Academy St. George J. Avlonitis won the Life Achievement Award during the Marketing Excellence Award Ceremony.
