1. Academic Requirements

A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized university with a competitive GPA.

Most programs require a minimum GPA of 5.0 on a 7.0 scale (or equivalent).

Some degrees may have higher entry requirements, such as a background in a specific field (e.g., Science, Engineering, Business).

2. English Language Proficiency

International students must provide proof of English proficiency through one of the following tests:

IELTS: Minimum 6.5 (with no band below 6.0).

TOEFL iBT: Minimum 80 (with at least 20 in reading and writing).

PTE Academic: Minimum 64 (with no section below 55).

Some programs, such as Law, Medicine, and Business, may require higher scores.

3. Additional Requirements (if applicable)

Work experience (for professional programs like MBA, Public Policy).

Statement of Purpose (SOP) explaining academic background and career goals.

Letters of Recommendation (for research-based or competitive programs).

Research Proposal (for research-focused master’s degrees like MPhil).

4. Visa & Health Insurance

Students must apply for an Australian Student Visa (Subclass 500).

Proof of Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is mandatory.

5. Application Process

Applications are submitted through the ANU official website.

Required documents include transcripts, English test scores, CV/resume (if needed), and additional program-specific materials.

Some courses may require an interview or portfolio submission.
