Azusa Pacific University (APU) is a private university located near Lost Angeles in suburban Azuza, California. Founded in 1899, Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian community of disciples and scholars who seek to advance the work of God in the world through academic excellence in liberal arts and professional programs of higher education that encourage students to develop a Christian perspective of truth and life.Azusa Pacific University's Azusa campus is situated in the San Gabriel Valley located 26 miles northeast of  Los Angeles.
As a leading Christian university in California, Azusa Pacific University grounds rigorous academics on a solid spiritual foundation. With an intentional focus on scholarship, faith integration, diversity, and internationalization, APU provides quality academic programs within a tight-knit community of disciples and scholars. The university offers 68 bachelor’s programs and 45 master’s programs, all with a faith-based focus through 11 Schools & Colleges (Accounting, Behavioral and Applied Sciences, Business and Management, Education, Honors, Liberal Arts & Sciences, Music and the Arts, Nursing, Seminary, Theology and University College). Nursing is the most popular major, followed by business administration and management, then general psychology. More than 9000 students are guided by 800 + faculty members.

In support of the mission of Azusa Pacific University (APU), University College (UC) was created in response to the growing demographic of diverse students who aspire to further their education. University College is committed to offering an education that is affordable and accessible. UC provides a variety of opportunities for financial aid ranging to 97 %. The Office of Student Financial Services assists through the financial aid process. Institutional scholarships are available for international undergraduate students.

The International Center provides services for students from around the world who travel to Azusa Pacific for a life-changing college experience.
