Azusa Pacific University (APU) is a private, evangelical Christian university which is located in Azusa, California, USA. It provides over 150 degree an option ranging from bachelors to PhD. Azusa Pacific University is accredited by the (WASC).

Azusa Pacific University History

Azusa Pacific University was founded in Whittier, California, on March 3, 1899. It was the first Bible College on the West Coast, known as the Training School for Christian Workers. The school began with a total enrolment of 12 students, led by president Mary A. Hill. After merging with three Southern California colleges, the university moved to Azusa in 1946, where it remains today. Pacific Bible College was established in 1939, and four-year degrees were provided. The name was changed to Azusa College in 1956. Azusa College became Azusa-Pacific College (APC) in 1965, and APC amalgamated with Arlington College three years later. The institution changed its name to Azusa Pacific University after it was granted university status in 1981.

Azusa Pacific University's Fitness Center and Weight Room offer a multipurpose training facility for various academic programs and athletic teams, as well as a wellness centre for students, faculty, and staff. Azusa Pacific University's residential life provides students on campus with a home away from home in the form of residential halls and apartments. The Office of Residence Life provides every amenity to its residents in order to improve residential life for students living on campus, allowing them to enjoy their lives stress-free and achieve their goals. One bedroom, one living room, one bathroom, and a kitchen/dining space are included in each apartment. A full-size refrigerator and gas stove are included in the interior, and card-operated laundry facilities are available in each court. A study room, card-operated laundry facilities, and community-style toilets are available in each residential hall. On the first story, there is a huge lounge, and on the second and third floors, there are smaller lounges. Built-in desks, chairs, twin beds, and mini blinds, as well as built-in closets and a built-in dresser, are all available at APU.
