To be considered for admission into a bachelor's program at Baku State University (BSU), applicants are generally required to fulfill the following criteria:

Completed Secondary Education: Applicants must have successfully completed their secondary education, equivalent to the Azerbaijani general education certificate, demonstrating eligibility for higher education studies.

Application Form: Submission of a duly filled application form addressed to the Rector of BSU, indicating the chosen field of study. 

Official Academic Transcripts and Certificates: Provision of notarized copies of academic records, including secondary school certificates and transcripts. 

Proof of Identity: A notarized copy of the applicant's passport or national identification card, translated into Azerbaijani if necessary. 

Medical Certificate: A health certificate confirming the absence of infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B, and C viruses. 

Photographs: Submission of recent passport-sized photographs, typically 6 to 8 copies as specified by the university.

  • Azercell Telecom : In October 2015, BSU signed a memorandum of cooperation with Azercell Telecom's Barama Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center. This collaboration aims to engage students in technological innovations and support the launch of successful business projects. Azercell has a history of supporting educational development in Azerbaijan, including vocational training courses for BSU's journalism students and the Student Bursary program, which offers scholarships and internships to university students
  • Coca-Cola : In January 2023, BSU and Coca-Cola Azerbaijan signed a partnership memorandum to expand student participation in local and international events. The agreement includes conducting scientific research in the food industry, developing new technologies, and providing opportunities for knowledge exchange and pilot work.
