To be eligible for admission into the Master of Science (MS) programs at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), applicants must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications: Applicants should possess a four-year bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Fisheries, or related disciplines. Degrees from other institutions may require validation by BAU's Equivalence Committee.
Minimum Academic Performance: Candidates must have achieved a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.5 out of 4.0 or 3.5 out of 5.0, or at least 50% marks in the annual system during their undergraduate studies.

Admission Test: Applicants must sit for a written admission test that assesses aptitude and subject-specific knowledge. A minimum score of 40% is typically required to qualify for enrollment.
In-Service Candidates: Individuals currently employed must obtain official clearance and study leave or deputation from their respective employers to be eligible for admission.
