Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent with a science background, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
Minimum GPA: A minimum GPA of 3.00 in each of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry is required.
Total GPA: The combined GPA from both SSC and HSC examinations should be at least 7.50.
Admission Test: Candidates must appear for and qualify in the BAUET admission test.

On February 22, 2025, BAUET commemorated its 10th anniversary with a series of events, including a flag hoisting ceremony, dove release symbolizing peace, prayer sessions, cake cutting, a colorful rally, and a job fair for final-year students. On March 10, 2024, BAUET hosted its Annual Sports Competition and Award Ceremony at the university's central playground.
