Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronic History

Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronic was established in the year 1964. It is a public university which is situated in Minsk in Belarus. It was started as Minsk Radioengineering Institute. It became the youngest institute in Minsk. It was founded to produce radioelectronic professionals.

Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics comprises of ten faculties which are further divided into 32 departments and research and training centres. It offers bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. Other courses include research and language degree programs.

There are more than 700 professors and doctors of science. It also offers study abroad programs, distance education, continuing education, post-doctoral degree, specialisations, interdepartmental course, certifications and foundation program. It is known for its education in computer science, radioelectronics and telecommunications.
