The below information is required while
completing the university application :
Completion of secondary education or equivalent (10+2 or high school diploma).
Application Form:
– Completed application form submitted through the university’s admission portal or authorized representative.
Academic Transcripts:
– Copies of school transcripts/mark sheets translated into Russian or English and notarized.
Passport:
– Valid passport with at least 18 months validity from the date of entry into Russia.
Language Proficiency:
– Programs taught in Russian require proficiency in Russian (students may take a Preparatory Course in Russian language at BelSU).
– For English-taught programs, proof of English proficiency (like IELTS/TOEFL or prior education in English) may be required.
In 2013, the university established ten new scientific laboratories, some under the auspices of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), signifying growth in research infrastructure. Scientists at BelSU created a new technology for aluminium alloy production: dissolving refractory metals in a super-heated aluminium melt (1000-1100 °C), stirring every 15-20 minutes to ensure better dissolution of refractory inclusions, thereby reducing total smelting time by 20-50%. This process stands as an inventive method enhancing alloy quality and manufacturing efficiency.
BelSU scientists in collaboration with a regional centre developed patents for production technology and formulations of immunity-enhancing desserts, using ingredients like fig plus echinacea extract, or Manchurian aralia, and without added sugar — designed for diabetics or those with metabolic disorders. The inventions cover both recipe/formulation changes and production process innovations.
Using granular organo-mineral fertilizer based on poultry manure and citrogypsum (in a weight ratio 2:1) and a special processing technology, BelSU researchers developed a method that improved soybean yield by about 23-27% in experiments. The invention addresses both sustainable waste-use (poultry manure) and improved crop productivity.
