Six essential documents typically required for admission to a Bachelor’s program at Benha University:

General Secondary School Certificate (Thanaweya Amma) or equivalent

You need to submit your original high school certificate along with full transcripts. For international diplomas (IGCSE, IB, American, etc.), these must be officially authenticated and accompanied by equivalency paperwork. 

Original birth certificate

A multi-part birth certificate (three?part Egyptian or equivalent) is mandatory for identity verification and must be submitted in original form. 

National ID card (for Egyptians) or valid passport (for internationals)

Egyptians submit a copy of their national ID (student and guardian). International students require a valid passport and a recent personal photo. 

Equivalency documents and certificates

Applicants with foreign or Azharian qualifications must provide authenticated certificates, equivalency documents, plus any required Arabic and religion exam results. 

Proof of payment of application fee & military status (Egyptian males)

You must pay the non?refundable application fee (~1,500 EGP) and, if applicable, present military service status documentation. 

Passport?size photos

A set of recent passport?style photos is typically required for official records and ID creation. Internationals often submit one; Egyptians may need multiple photos.
