Housing facilities (Accommodation)

 

UdK’s Student Advisory Service provides advice on finding housing, including access to Studierendenwerk Berlin’s dormitories, shared flats, and youth hostels, as well as guidance on contracts, registration, tenant rights, and rent reference indices  .

Halls of residence are distributed across districts, and students may apply via the Studierendenwerk housing portal .

Campus safety and occupational health promotion are promoted by the “Team Healthy UdK,” which includes an on‑site occupational doctor and safety specialist advising on workplace health .

Psychological and social support is offered for exam anxiety, mental health interruptions, and chronic illness accommodations—such as medical certificate acceptance and exam deferral options .

UdK also provides anti-discrimination and diversity counselling, with dedicated representatives for sexual harassment, antisemitism, gender equality, and disability access .
