Boise State University History

Boise State University is a public university situated in Boise, Idaho. It was established in the year in 1932 by the Episcopal Church. It is one of the third-largest university in Idaho.

The University was also honored 1st Place Student Research Presentation 2011 Intermountain GIS Conference, Pam Bond, 2011, LiDAR-derived height and canopy cover estimation of a sagebrush steppe community, March 2011, Pocatello, ID.

1. Brad Morse Memorial Computer Science Scholarship

The Brad Morse Memorial Computer Science Scholarship is awarded to the students who are planning to enroll for an undergraduate degree in Computer Science major at Boise State University.

Eligibility Criteria/ Scholarship Guidelines
To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with 12 credits pursuing Computer Science at the University.
- Should have a minimum GPA of 3.0

- Should submit the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Qualifying is an intermediate step between scholarship application submission by the applicant and selecting scholarship finalists by the University.
 

2. Bong Shin Memorial Scholarship

The Bong Shin Memorial Scholarship is awarded to the students who are planning to enroll for undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Management major in the College of Business and Economics at Boise State University.

To be eligible, an applicant:
- Should be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with 12 credits or graduate degree with 9 credits pursuing Management major at the University.
- Should have a minimum GPA of 3.6
