To be eligible for undergraduate admission at BRAC University, applicants must meet specific academic and procedural requirements. These include:
Educational Background: Applicants must have completed 12 years of schooling, including Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent qualifications. For O-Level and A-Level candidates, a minimum GPA of 2.5 in five O-Level subjects and two A-Level subjects is required, with no "E" grades accepted.
Minimum GPA Requirements: A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required separately in both SSC and HSC examinations, including additional subjects. For O-Level and A-Level candidates, a minimum GPA of 2.5 in O-Level and A-Level subjects is required, with no "E" grades accepted.
Admission Test: All eligible applicants, unless exempted, are required to sit for a written admission test. Those who qualify in the written test will be called for an interview for final selection.
English Language Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English. This can be through previous education in English-medium institutions or standardized tests such as IELTS or TOEFL.
Program-Specific Requirements: Some programs may have additional specific requirements. For instance, the Bachelor of Pharmacy program requires a minimum GPA of 4.00 in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in both SSC and HSC examinations.
Application Documentation: Applicants must submit a completed admission application form, original copies of academic transcripts and certificates, a statement from their home institution specifying the medium of instruction, a police clearance certificate from their country of origin or a No Objection Letter from their home institution, a valid passport, and medical certificates.
Break in Studies: Candidates with a break of study for up to three years will be accepted at BRAC University. Only exceptional cases beyond three years should email [email protected]. Upon review and approval by the Chair of the Admissions Committee, they may proceed with the application.

BRACU ALTER is a rescue rover developed by the Laboratory of Space System Engineering and Technology (LaSSET) at BRAC University.
