TU Braunschweig spans multiple campuses—Central, North, and East—with over 2,000 designated learning spaces including computer labs, self-study rooms, and seminar areas. The newly opened Student House on Central Campus offers 160 flexible study workplaces, equipped with high-speed Wi‑Fi and power outlets, and open daily from 8 am to 10 pm.
The university’s Study Service Centre (SC) serves as the central hub for student advising—from enrollment and academic counseling to social and international student support. With around 90 student associations and initiatives—including the engineering teams like Lions Racing, Akaflieg, and cultural groups like AkaBlas orchestra—campus life is vibrant and interdisciplinary. While TU does not own dormitories directly, it partners with Studierendenwerk OstNiedersachsen, which provides student accommodation with over 4,500 beds in dorms across Braunschweig and surrounding regions. Emergency protocols are clearly communicated—112 for medical/emergencies, 110 for police. The university is fully accessible and inclusive, supported by a Diversity Office that assists with disabilities, chronic illness, or family responsibilities. The environment is well-supported by campus administration and student representation via AStA.
The Career Service organizes workshops, company excursions, job fairs, and individual counseling to prepare students for internships and employment.
