All full-time students at METU must have valid health insurance, which is also required for obtaining and renewing your Residence Permit. The university strongly advises applicants from visa-required regions to apply for Medicare's Health Insurance before coming to Hungary, as it is widely recognized and accepted. You can call the Medicare CallCenter at 00361-465-31-00 between Monday and Friday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. to book an appointment.
The primary language of instruction for international programs is English.
