This University is one of the campuses of the 23 campuses of California State University. California State Polytechnic University Humboldt was founded in the year 1913. This campus is close to San Francisco. It is considered to be one of the best universities in the West. The university consists of around 6000 students with 490 faculties teaching currently. The university initially started as Teacher's College and in 1974 the university was named Humboldt State University. Recently, in the year 2022, it was renamed California State Polytechnic University Humboldt.
