Established in 1967 as campus of Sudbury’s Cambrian College, the Canadore College is a public college with three campuses at the North Bay (Aviation Technology Campus, Commerce Court Campus and College Drive Campus) and one campus at West Parry Sound in the province of Ontario, Canada.

Canadore College- Aviation Campus offers various full-time post-secondary diplomas, advanced diplomas and certificate programs focused mainly in the domain of aviation and avionics like: Aircraft Structural Repair Technician; Aviation Fundamentals; Aviation Technician – Aircraft Maintenance; Aviation Technician – Avionics Maintenance; Aviation Technology – Aircraft Maintenance and Avionics; Aviation Technology – Aircraft Maintenance and Structures; Commercial Fixed Wing Pilot; First Peoples’ Aviation Technology – Flight; and Helicopter Flight Training.

The total student population at the college is more than 4,500 students (across all campuses). All the campuses except the West Parry Sound campus offer the students the on-campus accommodation. 

Several of the programs taught at the Canadore College have agreements which allow the students to transfer from a college program directly into an upper year of a university degree program, thus providing the students a head start in their careers.
