Capital University was established in the year 1830 as a public institution offering bachelors and masters programs in the US. The university is located in the capital city of Columbus, Ohio spread across 48 acres of land. The city, often in the top 10 list for livability technology, and career opportunities is also home to many Fortune 500 companies.

At the undergraduate level, the university offers 60 majors, and over 50 minors in the areas of Business and Management, Arts and Communication, Social Sciences, Education and Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Mathematics and Computer Science.
