Catholic University of Portugal History

The Catholic University of Portugal also known as UCP or Universidade Catolica Portuguesa is a concordatary non-state-run university located in Lisbon, Portugal. The university was established by the decree of Lusitanorum Nobilissima Gens in 1967, gained university recognition in 1971, and currently enrolls over 12,000 students.

The Catholic University of Portugal is a decentralized university and offers different programs across four locations. The Lisbon campus offers programs in Business & Economics, Human Sciences, Law, Theology, Health Sciences, Political Studies, and Canonical Law.
