Admission Requirements for Pre-University and Technical Programs

    3.    Language Proficiency:

    •    French Programs: As the primary language of instruction is French, proficiency in French is essential. Applicants may need to provide proof of language skills or undergo a French competency test, depending on their educational background. 

    •    English Programs: For programs offered in English, such as certain pre-university courses, proficiency in English is required. Applicants may need to provide standardized test scores like TOEFL or IELTS.

    4.    Application Process:

    •    Submission: Applications are typically submitted through regional admission services corresponding to the Cégep’s location. For Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles, this is the Service régional d’admission au collégial de Québec (SRACQ). 

    •    Deadlines:

    •    Fall Semester: Applications should be submitted before March 1st.

    •    Winter Semester: Applications should be submitted before August 31st.
