Central South University History

Central South University, is a public university located in Changsha, China. It was formed by the merger of Human Medical University, Changsha Railway Institute and the Central South University of Technology in the year 2000.

Central South University Achievements

Central South University, scientist Zhang Yaoxue, the previous president of CSU, was awarded the prize of China’s elite National scientific discipline Award on 9 January 2015 for innovations in a type of network computing that allows users to access in operating systems or software on a different computer than on the user’s device. Prof. Wang Honghong from Xiangya Nursing College was awarded the “Global Excellence Nurse” Award in the year 2019.
