In 2015, CDU alumni Steve Camilleri and Byron Kennedy co-founded SPEE3D, introducing a groundbreaking cold spray metal 3D printing technology. This innovation enables rapid production of metal parts, significantly reducing manufacturing time and costs. Notably, the technology has been deployed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to produce critical vehicle components and tools amidst supply chain disruptions.
