The university also offers networked libraries with 24-hour Learning Commons, wireless internet connection in hotspot locations, and electric vehicle chargers for staff and students at various campuses.

Housing facilities (Accommodation)

Charles Sturt University offers accommodation on all six campuses, providing a great mix of country and city living in a safe and supported environment. Most first-year students who apply are guaranteed a room on campus, with domestic students needing to complete their accommodation application before 31 October and international students by 31 December. Living on campus is made easy with no bond required and rooms fully furnished, with the weekly fee including Wi-Fi, cleaning, dedicated study spaces, furnished living areas, washing machines and dryers, parking, maintenance, utilities, and 24/7 security. Each dorm or block has its own Residential Leaders – second or third year students who understand how new students feel and are ready to help with studies, residences, or just a chat. Accommodation options vary by campus, including traditional residences with shared bathrooms, kitchens and laundry, cottages with eight bedrooms and shared facilities, Spring Creek Village with individual bedrooms available with or without ensuites, and Narrambla village with dedicated buildings for undergraduate and postgraduate students. Security teams are student-focused and regularly patrol all campuses 24/7, with blue emergency phones located around all campuses that automatically connect to the security team.

The university has zero tolerance for gender-based violence, and everyone at Charles Sturt deserves to feel safe, respected and like they belong.
