 Charleston School of Law was founded in 2003 and received accreditation from the American Bar Association (ABA) in August 2011. The school was based on the basis of encouraging students and graduates to perform at least 50 hours of community service before graduation.

Charleston School of Law provides both the J.D. curriculum and dual-degree programs such as the J.D./Master of Business Administration and the J.D./Master of Social Work.
