China Medical University (CMU), established in 1931 in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, is one of China’s premier medical institutions. Originally founded as the Military Medical School of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army, it holds the distinction of being the first medical school established by the Chinese Communist Party.
