Libraries

The Library at the City University of Seattle has had a home in several buildings on campus over the years, including Old Main, Lowndes Hall, and Framptom Hall. The current building was constructed in 1976 from the design of S. Russ Minter. In 1990, the Library was named for its principal benefactor, local businessman Lewis J. Ort. With its iconic sweeping arches, the Ort Library remains a centerpiece of the University campus.
