Claremont McKenna College History

Claremont McKenna College was founded in 1946 as Claremont Men's College. It became co-educational in 1976 and was renamed Claremont McKenna College. The college has a strong tradition of producing leaders in business, government, and public affairs. The college has grown significantly over the years and currently has a student body of around 1,300 undergraduate students and over 100 faculty members.
