General Admission Requirements:
High School Graduation: Must have graduated from high school or completed the California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE), GED, or TASC
English Proficiency: Must demonstrate sufficient proficiency for college-level instruction
Residency: Must meet California residency requirements, which may include attending California schools for a minimum number of years
Financial Support: Proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses
Additional Requirements for International Students:
Education Equivalent: Must complete the equivalent of an American high school education
Financial Support: Bank statement showing at least $32,500
Health Insurance: Must purchase SMCCCD health insurance
English Proficiency: Minimum TOEFL score of 56
