Colorado Mesa University was found as a public institution in 1925. The University was previously known as Mesa State College, and it attained the university status in 2011. The main campus is located in Grand Junction, Colorado, the USA across 90 acres of land. The location offers some of the best outdoor recreations in the US. The institution is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
The University offers certificate, associate, bachelor’s and master’s level courses in liberal arts, professional, and technical programs. Intakes are for fall, spring, and summer, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Some of the most popular majors at the university are Kinesiology and Exercise Science; Nursing; Biological Sciences; Criminal Justice, and Safety Studies; and Business.

There are academic honors and national student exchange programs, and over 190 student club organizations for students to choose from.
