Communication University of China was established in the year 1954. It is a public university which is situated in Beijing in China. It was founded as a training centre for broadcasting professionals. Its name changed from Beijing Broadcasting College to Beijing Broadcasting Institute to its present name.

No, CUC primarily offers on-campus housing to government scholarship students due to limited capacity. Self-funded international students are encouraged to secure off-campus housing, as the university cannot guarantee on-campus accommodation for everyone.
International students renting off-campus must follow legal procedures, including signing a formal rental contract, applying for a residence permit, and registering for a “Temporary Residence” permit at the local police station.
On-campus dormitories for international students are mainly located in the International Center (No. 21 Building) and No. 37 Building. However, availability is limited and check-in is possible only after registration at the International Students’ Office.
