Academic Qualification: Possession of a secondary school certificate (Baccalauréat) is mandatory for admission into undergraduate programs.
For International Students:
Academic Records: Submission of official high school transcripts or equivalent qualifications.
Application Materials: Completion of an online application form, along with a statement of purpose, curriculum vitae or resume, and letters of recommendation.
Language Proficiency: Proof of proficiency in the language of instruction (Arabic or French) may be required.
Additional Requirements: Some programs, such as Medicine or MBA, might necessitate passing an admission test.
Visa Documentation: A valid passport and other necessary documents for visa application.

To accommodate growing academic needs, the university developed new campuses, such as the Slimane ZOUAGHI campus for Earth Sciences and the National Institute of Nutrition and Food Technology (INATAA), and the Ahmed HAMANI campus for the Institute of Architecture.

Renowned Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer designed the university’s campus, incorporating modernist architectural elements. Notable structures include the “Open Book” auditorium, symbolizing knowledge and learning.
During this period, the university established five key faculties: Arts and Humanities, Law, Administrative Sciences and Economics, Medicine, Exact Sciences, and Biology, laying the foundation for its multidisciplinary approach.
