Each class lasts three hours. When enrolling, students must choose a time slot for the entire year from the following options: 9:00–12:00, 12:30–15:30, 16:00–19:00, or 19:30–22:30. Classes take place three times per week, and the days vary depending on the teachers, but there are never classes on three consecutive days. Class sizes range between 20 and 30 students.

Most programmes offer two admission pathways. The first is via an immersive stage (workshop), which is recommended for about 90% of students and is accessible from age 17 without any level prerequisites. Throughout the workshop, the teaching team observes your progress, and at the end, you present your work before a jury of professionals. A favourable opinion allows you to join the professional programme. The second pathway is via a direct audition, which is for about 10% of students and is accessible from age 17 with proof of at least one year of prior professional-level acting training. After validation of your dossier, you prepare two monologues (one classical and one contemporary) and have an interview with the pedagogical direction.

For international students who are unable to come to Paris for a workshop or an in-person audition, there is a specific application procedure. Candidates must send their applications by email.
