Cranfield University History
Cranfield University is a British postgraduate and public university based on research specializing in science, engineering, technology and management. Cranfield was established in 1946 as the Aeronautics College. The development of many aspects of aircraft research and design led to significant growth and diversification into other areas such as manufacturing and management through the 1950s and 1960s.
