Daffodil International University History

Daffodil International University was established in 2002 and is located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The foundation of the University was through the approval of the University Grants Commission and the Government of Bangladesh.

Daffodil International University Programs, Courses, and Schools

The University comprises of 5 faculties and various departments under them. The Faculty of Science and Information Technology comprises of the Department of Computing and Information System, Computer Science and Engineering, Software Engineering, Multimedia, and Creative Technology, General Educational Development, and Environmental Science and Disaster Management.

The Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship comprises the Department of Business Administration, Commerce, Real Estate, Tourism and Hospitality Management and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Science comprises of Department of English, Department of Law, Journalism and Mass Communication and Development Studies.

The Faculty of Engineering comprises of Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Textile Engineering, Electrical, and Electronic Engineering, Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The Faculty of Applied Health Science comprises of Department of Pharmacy, Nutrition and Food Engineering and Public Health.

The University has multiple campuses in Dhaka. However, the main campus is located in Dhanmondi and the permanent campus is located in Ashulia.
