In order to establish a secure environment for learning, working, and playing, De Montfort University is dedicated to collaborating with its faculty, staff, and the neighbourhood. We have established a solid working connection with the local neighbourhood unit of Leicestershire Constabulary. Because to this fruitful collaboration, De Montfort University is a secure campus. That's how we want it to remain. With a police officer committed to the campus, their proactive, round-the-clock security team is prepared to address any issues. The local policing unit, which operates out of the adjacent Hinckley Road Police Station, assists them. The residence halls and university buildings are routinely patrolled by members of our security staff and the campus police officer.
