Environmental science research was also recognized, placing D.U.Th. 9th in Greece.
D.U.Th. played an active role in European Union-funded projects, including Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, and DigiAgriFood between 2021–2024. These projects focused on food-tech, sustainability, and digital innovation. The university’s inclusion in the LOTUS Project emphasized its strength in international academic collaboration and sustainable development.
