DeSales University History

DeSales University's history started in 1964 as Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales. It was founded by the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales. In 1965 institute began its first batch of classes. After the year 1970, the college became a co-educational institution. On March 1, 2000, the college received University status by the official notification from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.

DeSales University campus is in center valley, Pennsylvania, United States. The campus is spread over 400 acres on the south side of the Lehigh Valley. There is Dooling Hall received its name after the first president of the University, Fr. J. Stuart Dooling. It is known as an academic building and famous for its liberal arts faculty. The Gambet Centre for Business and Health Care Education has classrooms and laboratories as well. The Hurd Science Centre has a lecture hall, conference rooms, faculty offices, and a student research center.
