Durham College is based in Durham region of Ontario, Canada. The college was founded in the year 1967 with only limited classrooms, 14 staffs and 205 students. Durham College initially started with offering courses in applied arts, business and technology. But with time the college expanded and grew with more students getting enrolled in the college. - Oshawa Campus: This campus is the main campus of the Durham College. - Whitby campus: In December 2009, Durham College opened the first phase of the Whitby campus project, a comprehensive learning facility designed to train students in renewable energy and meet the projected demand for green jobs in Ontario. International students can work on campus as part of iWorks, a program that provides international students with opportunities for part-time employment. During September to April the IWorks programs allow students to work part-time during their studies.

- Be able to obtain a Social Insurance Number
- Be enrolled in a full time post-secondary program with a minimum of 60% of course load
