The below information is required while
completing the university application :
1. Academic Qualifications:
• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD): Completion of Grade 12 with satisfactory grades.
• Equivalent Secondary School Diploma: For applicants from other provinces or countries, an equivalent secondary school diploma is required. Generally, this means successful completion of Grade 12, except in Quebec, where Secondary V is acceptable.
2. Program-Specific Requirements:
• Some programs may have additional prerequisites, such as specific courses (e.g., Grade 12 English, Mathematics, or Science subjects), portfolios, or questionnaires.
• Applicants are responsible for reviewing the specific requirements for their chosen program.
3. English Language Proficiency:
• Applicants whose first language is not English must provide proof of English proficiency. Accepted tests and minimum scores include:
• IELTS Academic: Overall band score of 6.0, with no band less than 5.5.
• TOEFL iBT: Total score of 80, with minimum section scores of 20.
• PTE Academic: Overall score of 53, with no section below 49.
• CAEL: Overall score of 60, with no section below 60.
• Duolingo English Test (DET): Score of 105.
• Higher English proficiency scores may be required for certain programs.
