Ecole Normale Superieure is a public university which was established in 1974. The university is located in Paris, France. The faculty of Science comprises seven departments; Department of mathematics, Department of physics, Department of computer science, Department of chemistry, Department of biology, Department of Geoscience and cognitive science.
Ecole Normale Superieure has more than 2,400 students, which include 300 undergraduate students, 1,400 Graduate students, and 700 Doctoral students. The university has more than 1,400 faculty members.
Ecole Normale Superieure provides scholarship opportunities to the students on the basis of academic excellence. The university comprises a library whose main part is in open access for researchers, the Humanities Library Ulm-Jourdan is a hotspot for research in humanities and social sciences. The library is rich of 800,000 volumes, 2,000 subscriptions to print-based journals and to 18,000 electronic journals, and also offers online access to 100 databases, on-site and remote services, as well as computing resources training.
