Required Steps:

Complete a personal admissions interview.

Submit an application for admission along with an enrollment agreement.

Provide an official high school transcript or equivalent (GED accepted) .

Academic Credentials & Standardized Tests:

GED or high school completion is required.

High school GPA, standardized test scores (SAT/ACT), class rank, and recommendation letters are neither required nor recommended—you can apply without them. 

Application Fee: A nominal fee of $15, with no fee waivers offered in general, except under specific transfer agreements (e.g., VCCS graduates) .

Additional Support Options:

ECPI recognizes credit for life experience, dual enrollment, and Advanced Placement (AP) credits.  .

They also offer accelerated formats—most bachelor’s degrees can be completed in approximately 30 months, and associate degrees in 15 months.
