Entry / Matriculation Criteria

Students must be enrolled in Emory College or Oxford College and complete the pre-business (“Pre-BBA”) prerequisites, including economics, statistics, etc. 

They need to have completed at least 30 credit hours of academic work (excluding some non-academic courses like PE, health) before they can matriculate into the BBA program. 

Students submit an intent to matriculate in the semester before they want to start the BBA proper. 

Prerequisite Coursework

Required: Economics (micro and macro, or equivalent via Advanced Placement / IB) 

Statistical competency demonstrated via AP stats, or an equivalent stats course, or passing a statistics exam / bootcamp. 

Introductory business tools / tech skills: e.g. “BUS 290 Tech Tools A: Excel” is required. 

Application Process

High school students apply to Emory University via the general admissions; once enrolled and after doing the prerequisites, they can apply into the BBA program. 

Transfer students may apply directly if they meet credit and prerequisite requirements.
