1. International students applying for postgraduate programmes at ESRA International Film School, including the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Filmmaking and DHEC postgraduate programmes, must hold a recognized bachelor's degree (Bac+3 or equivalent) from an accredited institution.

2. Applicants are required to complete the online application, submit copies of their bachelor's degree certificate and academic transcripts, provide a valid passport or identity document, upload a personal statement or cover letter outlining their motivation, and pay the required application fee.

3. After submitting the application, candidates must schedule and attend an admissions interview.

4. As part of the selection process, applicants must also pass ESRA's postgraduate entrance examination, which includes a written film analysis test, an individual interview, and programme specific assessments.

5. Candidates applying to the DHEC Screenwriting & Directing programme complete an additional screenwriting exercise, while applicants to the DHEC Production programme write an essay on a cinema or economics related topic.

6. For the MFA in Filmmaking, the programme is taught entirely in English, and applicants are expected to demonstrate at least B2 level English proficiency.

7. Applicants to French language postgraduate programmes are generally required to demonstrate B2 level French proficiency. Admission decisions are based on academic qualifications, creative potential, performance in the entrance examinations, and the admissions interview.
