Seetharaman was awarded a Ph.D. in international Governance, as was former President of Switzerland, Adolf Ogi.

European Business School in 2011, Spain, Switzerland and Germany campuses were ranked at 39, and in 2017, distance/MBA degree ranks 14th in the world. In 2017, Online MBA ranked at 1 and the executive MBA ranked at 3 for global online rankings. The MBA program was elective tier one for European rankings. In 2011, Capital Magazine elected European Business School as 6th Best Business School in the world for female students.
