Established in 1942, the Fairleigh Dickinson University is a private, co-educational university with its campuses in New Jersey, USA; Vancouver, Canada; and South East England. The campus in Vancouver was opened in 2007 and is the latest campus of the university. The university offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to earn a U.S. degree while studying in Vancouver. 

The undergraduate programs offered at the Vancouver campus include Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Art in Individualized Studies and Bachelor of Art in Individualized Studies (with specialization in Hospitality and Tourism Management). The graduate degree programs include:  Master of Administrative Science and Master of Science degree in Hospitality Management studies. The university also offers Pre-University program and Pre-Masters program. It follows a semester based academic calendar.
