The college was established as Ontario Vocational Center in 1962 and adopted its present name in 1967. It currently enrols over 21000 full-time and 22000 part-time students.

The length of the PGWP depends on the length of your study program: 8 months to less than 2 years → PGWP validity matches program length. 2 years or more → Eligible for a 3-year PGWP.
The International Centre assists students with study permits, work permits, immigration guidance, and student life support. They help students navigate PGWP applications and work toward permanent residency in Canada.
